Securitize brings Apple, Nvidia and Tesla to Solana, with NYSE trading in the works
Securitize has announced the tokenization of shares in Apple, Nvidia, and Tesla on the Solana blockchain, marking a significant expansion of real-world asset (RWA) infrastructure on the network. The company is also working toward enabling trading of these tokenized equities on the New York Stock Exchange, according to a report from CoinDesk published October 8, 2026.
Securitize is a regulated digital asset securities firm that has previously partnered with major institutions, including BlackRock, to bring tokenized financial products to blockchain networks. The move to Solana reflects growing institutional interest in the network's high throughput and low transaction costs as a viable settlement layer for traditional financial instruments.
The development represents a notable convergence between traditional equity markets and decentralized infrastructure. Tokenized stocks allow investors to hold and transfer equity-like exposure on-chain, potentially broadening access to high-value assets and enabling round-the-clock trading outside conventional market hours. If NYSE integration proceeds, it could establish a regulatory precedent for hybrid on-chain and exchange-based equity settlement.
Observers will be watching whether U.S. regulators provide clear guidance on the legal status of tokenized equities ahead of any NYSE listing mechanism. The timeline for NYSE trading functionality and the specific structure of the tokens — including dividend rights and voting eligibility — has not yet been disclosed by Securitize.
