Robinhood has officially launched Robinhood Chain on public mainnet, a Layer 2 blockchain network built using Arbitrum's technology stack. The rollout includes several integrated products from launch, among them 24/7 tokenized stocks, perpetual trading through Lighter, and a framework for crypto agentic trading. Uniswap is among the day-one partners supporting the new chain.

Robinhood Chain represents the company's push into decentralized infrastructure, extending its existing retail brokerage presence into the on-chain ecosystem. By leveraging Arbitrum's tech stack, the chain inherits Ethereum's security model while targeting faster transaction speeds and lower costs. The inclusion of tokenized stocks signals Robinhood's intent to bridge traditional financial assets with blockchain-based trading environments.

The launch carries notable implications for the broader tokenized asset market, which has seen growing institutional and retail interest in recent months. Having an established retail brand like Robinhood deploy a dedicated Layer 2 with tokenized equities could accelerate mainstream adoption of on-chain financial products. The integration of perpetual contracts through Lighter also positions the chain as a multi-product trading venue competing across both spot and derivatives segments.

Observers will be watching how quickly liquidity builds on the network, particularly around its tokenized stock offerings, and whether additional partners join beyond the initial lineup. The agentic trading functionality, still in planned stages, will also be a key development to monitor as the ecosystem matures.
